Local Families Impacted by Matching Grant

Each year, the Town Pump Charitable Foundation offers Adopt a Family grants through their Christmas Giving Program. This program allows local organizations to disperse the grant money received to those in our communities who need a hand up around the holidays. The assistance makes a real impact on our neighbors during a financially stressful time of year.

NeighborWorks Great Falls received a $500 Adopt a Family grant from the Town Pump Charitable Foundation this year. In order to stretch these dollars, NeighborWorks Great Falls matched the grant, allowing $1,000 to be given out to families in Great Falls. Before Christmas, $200 was issued to five families, including Trisha (pictured on left), a mom of three daughters. Trisha stated, “This gift couldn’t have come at a better time. This blessing will help out with holiday expenses for my girls, and I am beyond grateful.”

The needs of our neighbors have been amplified this year, making this matching grant from the Town Pump Charitable Foundation and NeighborWorks Great Falls an even greater blessing to these families. Sherrie Arey, Executive Director of NeighborWorks Great Falls states, “We wanted to give back in some way during this season of giving. 2020 has been such a rough year for so many, and this was a small way for us to give our neighbors a hand up during the holiday season.”

The grants provided to organizations through the Christmas Giving Program are true blessings for so many neighbors who receive assistance across the state of Montana. NeighborWorks Great Falls wants to thank the Town Pump Charitable Foundation for their annual Adopt a Family grants and other charitable initiatives that better our communities.
