Here at NeighborWorks Great Falls, we strive to create quality, affordable housing and strengthen communities- two ambitious goals that could not be done without the support of our residents. This week we had the privilege to celebrate the individuals, businesses, and organizations who embody our mission during the annual NeighborWorks Week, June 3-10.
The week kicked off with Trolley Tours. These tours are not only a fun way to network, but provide participants the opportunity to see first-hand some of the work NeighborWorks Great Falls (NWGF) has done since 1980. Sights included High School Houses, rehab projects, rental properties, and the newest Owner Built Homes site. There were two tours open to the public and an additional tour for our Preferred Partners. Over 30 community members took the time to join us for a cruise around Southside Great Falls and learn more about NWGF.
The annual Most Improved Awards wrapped up the eventful week. These awards recognize those who showed their commitment to making Great Falls a better place- from community service to property renovations, there was a lot to celebrate! The awards and recipients are:
